James Brannigan and the Managent of the J2 team are awaiting confirmation that the Blackrock J2 team beat Clontarf's J2 in Castle Avenue in the J2 League on Saturday. If the Leinster Branch confirm this is the correct result, this would mean our J2's would qualify for the quarterfinal's of the league.

All in all this season has been fantastic for us at J2, a level that we have failed to compete strongly at for a long number of years. congrats for the work done to date by Peter Fields, Frank Ennis and James Brannigan.

J3's Unofficially crowned League DIVISION 2 Champion's for this season!!

The failure of The Royal College Of Surgeons J3 team to arrive at Kilternan on Sunday and fulfil their fixture in the league, could have confirmed Niall Fitzgerald's Team as champions.

With the referee being in Kilternan, all indications are that we will be awarded the points for the non show of the RCS team.

In true Salmo spirit the team went out celebrating anyway, and all looked very smart in their new fleeces and baseball caps that were very kindly sponsored by kevin Tobin of Pk Chemicals.

In our first match of the season we had a very good run out in our inaugural league match against Mary's in the DPSmyth cup being organised by Mary's at Templeville yesterday.

19 people turned up and all got a game in a tough but enjoyable game. This cup is being run in two sections of four and our next game is against Terenure in the club in two weeks time, then the following week we play Belvedre away. Should we win both the remaining games we will qualify for the Semi final stage.
